Marcus Wilding

Media Strategy and Consumers Journey

Marcus Wilding is currently the Global Group EVP of PHD Media, a global communications planning and media buying agency part of Omnicom Group (OMG). A media industry veteran of 30 years, he has worked with many blue chip advertisers in global and EMEA capacities, driving digital transformation agendas and repeatedly reframing the media agency services portfolio. Prior to PHD, Marcus previously held top executive positions at Mindshare (WPP Group) and Carat (now part of the holding group Dentsu).

He serves with the Management Committee of EACA (European Association of Communications Agencies) where he was founding Board member of the educational arm EACA-inspire.

Given his keen interest in marketing technologies, Marcus co-created and, earlier, was amongst the first to experiment with algorithmic journalistic content curation, with He also serves as member of the Board of the Vascular Forum Austria, as Managing Director.

Marcus holds an M.A. in Drama & Literature from Trinity College Dublin
